Loose Parts Series

Loose parts play was an idea proposed by architect Simon Nicholson in the 70’s which heavily influenced playspace design. He believes loose parts empower a child’s creativity and imagination. Having these materials to move around, to run with, play with, or build with, encourages development of divergent thinking, spatial sense, mathematical thinking, vocabulary, and more.

The Manila Wooden Toys Loose Parts Series is just the beginning... we have curated some sets that bring wonder to children - a sack of balls or wooden marbles, a box of wooden coins, a tray... all are handcrafted and made of sustainable wooden materials.
